Both timbers are termite resistant; I won’t be using chemical treatments.
The native cypress is plantation timber. Ironbark is, I am assured, sustainably produced. The suppliers, Australia Timber Frames of Australia, have appropriate and impressive accreditation, and have been very helpful with our selection of wood.
