Greetings Lucy – yes, Nishijima is in his mid-seventies, and doing wonderful work. Very well-known in Japan. He does it all: design, carving the blocks, printing – a true Master….
Thanks Sally Ann – Nishijima is a master designer. I seem to remember his original training was in architecture. Certainly, a lot of his prints depict traditional buildings (and boats).
