Bungala 2

Mark Pearse: Full Moon at Bungala
Acrylic on board: 7 inches by 10 inches
Mark stored his paintings in the outhouse at Bungala. Beyond are the river flats, Bungala creek, and the full moon rising.
Small painting, large theme: moonlight shaping and transforming the landscape.
I think it is a wonderful composition. Utagawa Hiroshige, master of rain, snow and moonlight, would surely recognise a kindred spirit.

  1. Beautiful moon energy in this work, love Marks composition. His confident painting shows he was in his stride …

    1. Very nice painting. It’s good you are such a champion of Mark. He deserves to be seen and appreciated!

      1. Yes, thanks Stewart. Mark’s work speaks for itself, but he needs a larger audience to ‘listen’!
I am sure it will happen, bit by bit….
